As the day comes to a close, Lord, we give thanks for the blessings and goodness You have planned for us in December and this Advent season. We remember and honor Mary, the Immaculate Conception, and the saints who guide us. Jesus Christ, our God, we adore You and thank You for today’s graces. We offer You our sleep and this night, asking to be kept free from sin. We place ourselves under Your protection and that of our Lady. May Your holy angels watch over us and bring peace.
O God, come to our aid, make haste to help us. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Take a moment to reflect on God’s love throughout the day, the gifts received, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Ask for the Spirit’s help in examining your actions, drawing closer to God, and recognizing what pulled you away from Him.
